Found the ideal place? It’s easy to secure it. We’ll assist you with the application for tenancy, which is then forwarded to the landlord. Once they’ve accepted your offer, you’ll pay a holding deposit equal to one weeks’ rent. This secures the property, subject to referencing and checks.
Don’t be too alarmed by the referencing process, as it’s a straightforward procedure. You’ll need your passport for this, so we can carry out the Right to Rent checks. Once that’s done, you’re nearly ready to get those keys and turn that property into your home.
The final stage is the creation of the tenancy agreement; a legal document that protects both you and your landlord. After this agreement is drawn up and signed, and the first month’s rent and security deposit paid (clearance usually takes around 48 hours), the rented home is officially yours. And don’t worry about complications on the moving day – you will collect keys from the office at a time convenient for you and the inventory clerk will send you a copy of the inventory by email so you can go through it in your own time.
